As you walk into the living room it is easy to note that comfort has not been sacrificed for style. The large “Rive Gauche” settees by Ligne Roset offer ample space for your guests to relax and sit comfortably around the “Danzica” low coffee table by Armani Casa. "Snowdonia" arm chairs, a low “Stem” drawer by Ligne Roset and stylish surround the seating area in a harmonious way. A side round table known as "Ottawa" and a side square table called "Paris", both by Armani Casa, add plenty of space for easy living and entertaining. A retractable 5 to 1 cinema system, allows for the ultimate home-entertainment experience. The wall is quarry faced travertino marble, offering a natural backdrop which matches perfectly with the whole ambience.
Once you step outside, the large terrace has an eight-seated dining area and a romantic round sitting arrangement known as “Harem” beside a leaf sun shade bed called "Elitre". Mediterranean warmth and hospitality meet Arabian grace and Asian simplicity. The external furniture is all by EMU. The rectangular extendable dining table is "Continuum" and the dining chairs are "Delta". The terrace has a 360 degrees retractable awning and decking in composite teak and iroko timber planks dotted with led lights which seem to mirror the stars at night. In the glamorous dining room you will find a "Trocadero" Armani Casa dining table which seats eight in "Anna" Armani Casa dining chairs. "Caboche" crystal pendants by Foscarini give a modern chandelier effect. A custom made silver mirror cleverly designed to give a superb 360 degree sea view, allows guests to be entertained both by their hosts and the mesmerising sea views. And if the daylight is too bright one can simply roll down the beige Roman blinds.
Everything about this penthouse gives one a sense of ease and comfort despite its luxurious finishings. Fabrics for all the curtains are from Camilleri Paris Mode and all the shades are Natuzzi. The internal floor is travertino marble, grouted and grinded to expose some natural perforations, and treated to a matt finish. Each room has multi-room audio and video. In a nutshell this home is a high-tech paradise.
Part of this penthouse’s natural beauty is that it has sunlight for 14 hours in the Summer and 9 hours in the Winter. The total terrace area is 160 square metres and the internal area is 220 square metres comprising three bedrooms all with ensuites, a kitchen, a living, a dining, guest toilet, hall, laundry room and a store room.
As you walk further inside you will find the most minimal room in the home - a Cucine Veneta kitchen from the North East region of Italy. An oblong-shaped room designed in a way that’s comfortable, manageable and with perfect ergonomics, to keep the place clean. The appliances are by Miele and the white and dark brown cupboards expose only those things one needs to use, while everything else is hidden.
The kitchen leads into a master bedroom with a huge balcony and more panoramic views. An intriguing Doimo walk-in wardrobe leads into the bathroom and shower area. The bedroom has a fixed LCD screen and electronic dimmable circuits which provide for different moods according to your desires. The furniture is Doimo and includes a lovely "Cemia" bed by Ligne Roset. The master ensuite’s wall is in treated travertino marble while the floor is a composite of teak and iroko timber planks with floor heating for absolute comfort. It contains a central column and shower wall with gold micro mosaic, a shower with a glass door and a white spherical bath.
Past the hallway on the opposite side one finds a guest bathroom and two more bedrooms. The bathroom has a cubist ceramic sink with a water feature, and beautiful blue ceramic floors. A very interesting and unique feature is a custom made wall unit in the hallway, which serves as an artistic, modern library. This expressionistic bookshelf called Yasmina is made up of blocks of timber and perspex providing natural light. The paintings are by Christopher Saliba and the lights by Delta.
In the two additional bedrooms, one furnished by Tomasella and the other by Doimo, there are large wall-to-wall wardrobes and fixed LCD screens. Si milar to the master, bedroom both rooms are south-facing and have muted tones with welcoming warm hues of coffee, chocolate and beige.
